Our standard
SEEN IN KOREA aims to make information about Korea useful, verifiable and clear. We distinguish confirmed facts from claims, marketing language, speculation and opinion.
Sources
We prioritize primary sources whenever possible, including government data, company announcements, official documents, direct interviews and first-hand reporting. When secondary reporting is used, we identify the original source whenever it can be verified.
Verification
Information is not treated as confirmed simply because it is widely repeated online. Material claims are checked against available evidence before publication.
Celebrity and product claims
We distinguish between official campaigns, confirmed product use and unverified claims. A celebrity appearing in a campaign does not automatically mean that person personally uses or recommends the product outside the campaign.
Interviews
Interview material is presented as the experience or opinion of the person interviewed. Quotes may be lightly edited for clarity without changing their meaning. We do not fabricate interviews, quotes or first-hand experiences.
Anonymous sources
Anonymous sourcing is used only when there is a legitimate reason to protect a source. When anonymity is granted, we provide readers with as much relevant context as possible without identifying the source.
Corrections and updates
If a material factual error is identified, we correct it promptly. Stories may also be updated when new verified information becomes available. Significant corrections should be made transparent to readers.
Images
We prefer original, officially provided or properly licensed images. Illustrative or AI-generated images should not be presented in a way that could reasonably be mistaken for documentary evidence of a real event or product detail.
Artificial intelligence
AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting, translation or production workflows. AI-generated material is not automatically published. Editorial review and factual verification remain part of the publication process.

Affiliate links, advertising, sponsorships and commercial partnerships may support SEEN IN KOREA. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Relevant commercial relationships are disclosed where appropriate.
